Training
This half day refresher is aimed at experienced practitioners who have been catheterising patients for a while, and require a core subject update on the latest procedure and practice. The course will cover all theoretical aspects relating to Catheterisation and knowing when use is required for Male, Female and Supra Pubic Catheterisation within practice. They will have a good understanding of the procedure to follow and how to undertake catheterisation safely in line with best practice and evidence base. Competencies will be referred to throughout the course and a copy will be issued for the delegate to take back to their own clinical setting for completion, until deemed competent within their organisations guidelines and protocols.
Max Delegates: This course is open to Registered Professionals. Maximum 15 delegates per course.
Course Duration: The Face-to-Face sessions are a half day of in person training and run from 9:00am to 1:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The Virtual sessions are 3 hours of remote training, the timings for which are to be determined once booked.
