Training
This course will equip learners with the key information and understanding of the skills involved in performing urinary catheterisation on patients with a suprapubic catheter. It will give an insight into the laws, legislations and relevant best practice guidance relating to this subject. Learners will review their knowledge of anatomy and physiology and have the opportunity to practice the skill with a simulated model. Competency assessments will be required back in the workplace by an experienced and competent practitioner.
Max Delegates: This course is open to Registered Professionals. Maximum 15 delegates per course.
Course Duration: The Face-to-Face sessions are a half day of in person training and run from 9:00am to 1:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The Virtual sessions are 3 hours of remote training, the timings for which are to be determined once booked.
