Training
This course is aimed at non-clinical staff who will have the role of chaperone when healthcare staff are undertaking intimate examinations on patients. It will allow the learner the opportunity to fully explore the role and remit of the chaperone, and how this should be available within a practice setting as required by the patients. It has been written taking into account the guidance and recommendations of the relevant regulatory and professional bodies.
Max Delegates: This course is open to everybody. Maximum 15 delegates per course.
Course Duration: The Face-to-Face sessions are a half day of in person training and run from either 9:00am to 1:00pm or 2:00pm to 6:00pm. The Virtual sessions are 3 hours of remote training, the timings for which are to be determined once booked.
